Jimmy Doherty's Farming Heroes
One of the best programmes on food ever. Should be compulsory viewing for clueless urbanites. Whilst I've always enjoyed Jimmy's Farm, I wasn't expecting much from this. I was completely wrong. The opening espisode was a masterpiece.

Celebrity Masterchef 2008
This started very badly with a gaggle of incompetent hasbeens annoying me. Now at last 3, it's fantastic. Yes the formula is starting to grate badly but finding a natural cook like Liz warms the cockles of your heart.

Yotel Cabin Hotel, Heathrow Terminal 4
Well-priced overnight accom (and avail for a few hours for less moulah too). Clean, modern and (obviously) small. V Comfortable tho. Only let-down was that WiFi wasn't working..

A Horticultural Bible
I bought this book about 8 years ago now and at the time it cost about €100 [possibly púnts at the time?]. If botany and intricate plant studies are what turns one on… then this is your cup of tea. Do understand this is not Sunday afternoon...
